Brendan, the line about benchmarking against what the user actually does today is the one that got me.

This morning a skilled nursing operator in the Northeast, multiple facilities, told me his Monday looks like four browser tabs open, reconciling census against payroll by hand. That's the competition. Not Linear. A guy with four tabs doing math that three systems should have agreed on and didn't.

Small addition on healthcare leading in APIs. True at the hospital and certified EHR layer. Less true one floor down. Skilled Nursing and senior housing mostly sat outside the programs that pushed certification and API requirements, so we got the complexity without the pressure to open up. PHI, clinical documentation, survey risk, payer mix, all of it. Just no forcing function.

Which is why your point about buying the empathy is right. Somebody who spent ten years running a region knows which of those four tabs is lying. You don't get that from a requirements doc.
