Hopefully you woke up this morning and went “I’d really love some steaming hot health information exchange drama”, because if so, Epic v. Health Gorilla just delivered in spades. Epic just voluntarily dismissed their claims against SelfRx with prejudice, the second defendant to exit a case that started with sixteen.
But while this is the second exit after GuardDog, the two could not be more different in how they got there. Where GuardDog turned tail under a permanent injunction, admitting it pulled records under a phony treatment purpose, SelfRx walks out swearing it barely touched Carequality at all.
